Preparation for the International Chemistry Olympiad demands a high level of understanding and interest in chemistry and an outstanding ability to relate chemical subjects with one another as well as with the practical world. A set of preparatory problems will be available in advance of the competition by the end of 2011. These problems are designed to give you a taster of what is to come at the 2012 IChO competition, by carefully working through them and learning the concepts provided you can ensure you are well prepared for both the practical and theoretical areas of the IChO.
