Generation, Stabilization, and Control of Fluidic Nanostructures

This was the last year of this grant. The primary research associated with this grant was performed over the course of the first two years.

The last year of this effort was focused on several primary areas:

1) Wrap-up of the research and extension of the fiber-pulling apparatus to newer materials. This was done in order to assist with the securing of further funding from other organizations in this research area.

2) Paper writing and publication. A paper (published in Journal of Materials Research) was written and published

3) Presentation of work at conferences. Funds were used in order to travel and present the work at ana appropriate forum.

4) Grant writing. Substantial effort was expended in order to secure future funding in this research area.
