Early Sunday morning, an impressive crowd swarmed into the Moscone Center in San Francisco for the 239th ACS National Meeting. With more than 18,000 attendees this promised to be one of the most well-attended national meetings ever. Of those registered, 3,317 were graduate students. This number was bolstered by programming focused on graduate student research as well as career and networking opportunities. This article highlights these events along with what you can expect to see in Boston at the fall national meeting. |
