I have a chemistry.org account, but I don’t remember the password or my User ID. How do I get a new password or User ID reminder?

If you have forgotten your password, please use our Forgot Password service to request a new temporary password that you can change after accessing your chemistry.org account.

If you need a reminder of your Login/User ID, please use our Forgot User ID service. Upon receiving your User ID reminder, you can then use our Forgot Password service to receive a new secure password.

Please note: Your C&EN Online and CEN-Chemjobs logins and passwords will not transfer to the chemistry.org login profile. Individual login on each website is required.

I have a chemistry.org account, but I’m not certain that my ACS membership number is correctly associated with the account. How do I tell if my chemistry.org account references my ACS membership number?

After logging in on chemistry.org, click the “Edit Profile” link (located under the “You are currently logged in as “your name” message in the login box on the chemistry.org home page) to check your chemistry.org profile information.

I don’t have a chemistry.org account yet. How do I create a new chemistry.org account and then renew my ACS dues online?

Create a new account by clicking the “New User” link in the login box. Create a user ID and password, then select "Yes" from the drop-down menu to indicate you are an ACS member. Next, enter your membership number and last name. Finally, complete the necessary profile fields to complete your chemistry.org account registration. If your renewal invoice is available, you will see a renewal verification page with a link that gives you access to your invoice.

How do I find my membership number?

Your membership number is located on your membership card or on the mailing label of your Chemical & Engineering News. Your membership number will be either the first seven or eight numbers on your mailing label. If you need assistance in verifying your ACS membership number, please contact ACS Member & Subscriber Services.
