The ACS Green Chemistry Institute® has just announced the 15th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference will be held June 21-23, 2011. In a greater effort to unite scientific leaders and commemorate the International Year of Chemistry, ACS GCI will hold the conference in concert with the 5th International Conference on Green and Sustainable Chemistry. Researchers and industry leaders from all over the world will convene in the Nation’s Capital to celebrate advancements in green chemistry and encourage a steady growth towards environmental improvements.
This year’s annual conference, June 21-23, 2010, experienced a 16% increase in attendance (470 registered attendees vs. 405 in 2009); a double digit percentage increase for the second year in a row. The annual GC&E conference, which regularly attracts scientific leaders from around the world, held technical sessions and featured six highly esteemed keynote speakers.
Access to recorded presentations from the 14th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering conference will open to the general public beginning Thursday, August 12, 2010.
