| As part of Chemists Celebrate
Earth Day 2006 and in recognition of its theme, "Dig
It!", the American Chemical Society is sponsoring
an illustrated haiku contest for students in Kindergarten
- 12th grade. Students are invited to produce an illustrated
haiku poem demonstrating the theme "Dig It!" and should
reflect some aspect of soil, dirt or plants.

Only local section winners will be considered for
the national competition. Rules and guidelines for
competitions in your area can be obtained from your
CCED Coordinator. |
